대구대학교(총장 김상호) 정보통신대학이 ‘경북형 SW Open Bank 구축사업 성과공유대회’에서 금·은·장려상 수상자를 배출했다.

경상북도가 지원하고 (재)경북테크노파크가 주관하는 경북형 SW Open Bank 구축사업은 경상북도 내 SW산업의 성장과 저변확대 및 기반 조성을 위해 마련되었다.
이번 사업을 위해 지난 6월 교수와 학생 및 산업 멘토와 멘티로 구성돼 사전 선발된 20개 팀은 6개월간 기업 현장에서 겪는 기술적 문제를 SW를 통해 해결하는 프로젝트를 진행하며 대회를 준비했다.
특히 이번 대회에서는 대구대 재학생으로 구성된 총 5개 팀이 참가했으며, 금상 1개, 은상 1개, 장려상 3개를 받음으로써 모든 참가팀이 수상하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.
전자공학전공의 우정식·정현호·김태형·신원준 학생팀(지도교수 류정탁)은 ‘9축 센서와 앱 기술의 활용’이라는 주제로 의자에 오래 앉아 있는 사무직 근로자들의 자세 불균형 예방 및 교정하는 시스템을 개발해 발표한 결과 금상을 수상했다.
또한, AI학부 김수환·김성민·채성욱 학생팀(지도교수 이동화)은 ‘딥러닝 기반의 산업안전(Equipment Safety) 비전시스템’ 주제로 산업현장에서 공장 근무자들의 절단 및 베임 사고를 줄일 수 있는 산업안전 시스템에 관한 내용으로 은상을 수상했다.
류정탁 대구대 정보통신대학장은 “대구대 정보통신대학 학생들의 실무 실력은 전국에서 강한 면모를 보인다”면서 “졸업 후 어느 기업에 취업해도 적응을 잘할 자신감이 있다”고 말했다.
