[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경남도는 창원 대원초등학교에 조성된 <학교 안 마을배움터> ‘상상의 숲’이 2021년 대한민국 공공디자인 대상 비공모 부문 최우수상에 선정되었다고 밝혔다.
<학교 안 마을배움터> 시범사업으로 조성된 대원초등학교 ‘상상의 숲’은 지난 2019년 경상남도와 도교육청.LH한국토지주택공사.NH농협은행경남본부가 업무협약을 맺고 남해초등학교 ‘별별극장’과 함께 조성하여 2020년 11월에 개장했다.
학생과 주민이 편안히 쉬고, 안전하게 뛰어놀 수 있는 주민공유공간과 다양한 문화공연 및 학습공간인 야외무대, 친환경 트리하우스와 잔디언덕이 조성되었고, 야외무대와 트리하우스를 잇는 산책길·전망대가 설치됐다.

대한민국 공공디자인 대상 시상식은 오는 17일(금) 문화역서울284 아르티오(RTO)에서 열리며, 수상작 15점은 시상일 당일부터 공공디자인 종합정보시스템(www.publicdesign.kr)에서 전시한다.
