브레이크뉴스 박정대 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대선후보는 8일 '국민건강국가'를 비전으로 제시하며 코로나백신 참사 특별조사위원회를 설치하겠다고 밝혔다.
조원진 후보는 이날 보도자료를 통해 "코로나 백신 부작용과 사망 사례가 급증하고 있는데 정작 피해자가 백신 인과성을 직접 입증해야 하는 등 책임을 국민에게 떠넘기려고 하고 있다"면서 "세월호 참사 원인을 규명한다고 설치된 사회적 참사 특별조사위원회를 폐지하고 코로나 백신참사 특별조사위원회를 설치하여 국가가 백신과 부작용의 인과관계를 조사하고 국가가 보다 적극적으로 보상책을 마련하겠다"고 밝혔다.
조원진 후보는 "국내 코로나 신규 확진자가 사상 처음 7000명대를 넘어섰고, 코로나 사망자가 4000명을 넘어선 상황에서 청와대는 안보실을 개편하겠다고 하니 국민은 억장이 무너진다"면서 "국민건강과 안전에 우왕좌왕하는 문재인 정권이 코로나 백신 위기를 더욱 확산시키고 있다. 국민건강을 위해 지금이라도 당장 문재인 정권은 물러나야 한다"고 비판했다.
그는 또한 "국민이 건강한 나라를 최우선 국정과제로 선정하고 건강수명을 80세로 연장할 수 있는 국민건강국가 중장기 발전계획을 수립하겠다"고 약속했다.
