8일 민주당 대구시당은 “공정성장과 전환성장을 추구하는 후보의 정치철학을 뒷받침하고 대구 시민과 함께 대구 미래발전과 대전환의 계기 확보하겠다”는 다짐을 밝히며 선거대책위원회 1차 구성안을 전했다.
민주당 대구시당은 선거대책위원회를 대구경북총괄선대위원장, 공동상임선거대책위원장, 공동선거대책위원장과 청년공동선대위원장, 고문단 이하 여러 위원회와 본부로 구성했다고 전했다.
특히 이번 선대위 구성은 45년간 보수 정치인으로 몸담아온 박창달 전 의원이 대구 선대위의 대구경북총괄선거대책위원장 자리에 영입되면서 눈길을 끄는 가운데 민주당의 이와 같은 결정이 보수텃밭인 대구경북에서 표심을 끌어 모을 동력될지, 자충수 될지에 귀추가 주목된다.
