브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= bhc는 오는 29일까지 ‘해바라기 봉사단’ 6기를 모집한다고 9일 밝혔다.
해바라기 봉사단은 bhc가 운영하는 대학생 봉사 단체다. 2017년 발족, 현재까지 꾸준히 활동을 이어오면서 복지 사각지대 해소를 위해 노력해 왔다.
이번 모집 대상 역시 기존과 마찬가지로 전국 대학생(휴학생 포함)을 대상으로 하며 총 10명의 단원이 선발된다. 참여 희망자는 bhc BSR(bhc+CSR) 공식 블로그에서 지원서를 다운로드하고 작성한 후 메일로 제출하면 된다. 합격자는 내년 1월 4일 bhc BSR 공식 블로그와 페이스북을 통해 발표된다.
해바라기 봉사단 6기가 되면 5명씩 2개의 조로 구분돼 내년 1월부터 12월까지 1년간 직접 선정한 내용으로 봉사를 실천하게 된다. 활동 시 소요되는 모든 비용은 bhc에서 전액 지원하며 활동 최우수자에는 소정의 장학금이 지급되는 것이 특징이다.
봉사 수료자 전원은 bhc 입사 지원 시 서류 전형이 면제된다. 봉사단 활동 중 각종 bhc 프로모션에 응모할 경우 우선 참여권도 부여된다.
bhc 관계자는 “해바라기 봉사단이 1기부터 올해 활동 기수인 5기까지 꾸준히 유지될 수 있었던 이유는 남다른 열정으로 봉사에 임해준 단원들의 노력 덕분”이라며 “선배 기수의 봉사 정신을 이어받아 내년에 봉사단을 책임감 있게 이끌 진취적인 대학생들의 많은 관심 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
한편, 해바라기 봉사단 5기는 저소득층 대상 연탄 나눔 봉사를 시작으로 유기동물보호소 봉사, 시각장애인 도서 제작, 현충원 묘역 정화 활동, 개미마을 방역 봉사, 북한 아동 위한 목도리 만들기 등 사회적 환기가 필요한 다양한 분야에서 봉사를 진행하며 선한 영향력을 전파해 왔다.
