[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 13일 한국지방행정연구원 지방투자사업관리센터(LIMAC)가 창원박물관 건립 사업에 대한 타당성 조사를 완료했다고 밝혔다.
창원박물관 건립사업은 총사업비 714억원(국비 40% 포함)을 투입해 성산구 중앙동 159-1번지 일원에 지하 1층, 지상 3층 규모(연면적 1만 4,748㎡)의 종합박물관을 건립하는 특례시 대표 문화 랜드마크 조성사업이다.
총사업비 500억 원 이상으로 지방재정 투자심사에 앞서 타당성 조사 대상 신규사업에 해당되어 지난 4월 타당성 조사 전문기관인 한국지방행정연구원과 타당성 조사 약정을 체결하고 조사에 착수했다.
한국지방행정연구원은 창원시의 사업기본계획을 바탕으로 내·외부 연구진 조사와 현장실사, 시민 설문조사 등을 거쳐 약 7개월간 창원박물관 건립사업의 ▲경제성, ▲운영수지, ▲정책적 타당성을 분석하고 이달 조사를 완료했다.
