광주 MBC는 지난 12월 15일 오후6시 김준태 시인의 인터뷰를 방송했다.
김 시인은 “5·18을 기억하고 기록하고, 쉼 없이 ‘광주정신’을 노래하는 저를 가까이 엿보고 싶은 모양이었다. 5·18기록관(옛 가톨릭센타)에서 1시간 30분 정도 인터뷰하고 제 공부방인 금남로 리케이온)Rykeion)을 열어주었다. 고향 해남을 떠나와 60여 년간을 광주에 살면서 제가 부른 ‘광주노래(詩)’는 대략 800여 편을 넘어선 것으로 알고 있다”고 소개했다.
