대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) LINC+사업단(단장 박수진)이 ‘제3회 경북도내 대학생 지역사회 현안문제 해결방안 경진대회’에서 3년 연속 대상을 수상하는 쾌거를 이루었다.

이번 경진대회는 경운대학교 LINC+사업단과 경상북도가 주최하고 대구경북 LINC+사업협의회가 주관한 것으로, 경북도내 현안문제에 대한 해결방안 아이디어를 도출하고 지역상생 협력 프로그램 활성화 등을 통한 지역혁신 활동을 촉진하기 위하여 기획되었다.
대회에서 도내 6개 대학 내 다양한 팀들이 치열한 경합을 벌인 끝에 대구한의대 LINC+사업단 Health-Up팀이 대상(경북도지사상)을, Smart Healing Road팀이 우수상(경운대 총장상)을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.
이로써 대구한의대학교는 2019년, 2020년에 이어 2021년에도 대상을 수상하며 3년 연속 대상 수상의 성적을 거두었다.
대상인 경북도지사상을 수상한 Health-Up팀(책임교수 임상병리학과 양은주, 팀장 오혜성)은 임상병리학과, 물리치료학과, 미술치료학과, 글로벌관광학부 호텔관광학전공 등 다양한 전공 융합형 팀으로 경산시, 고령군, 대구광역시 임상병리사회, 예비 사회적기업인 ㈜비위더스 등 지자체 및 지역 단체·기업과의 유기적 관계를 적극 활용하여‘지역의료건강지원을 위한 All-Self Care project’이라는 참신한 아이디어를 도출했다.
우수상(경운대학교 총장상)을 수상한 Smart Healing Road팀은(책임교수 글로벌관광학부 호텔관광학전공 추윤경, 팀장 김지민)은 대구경북지역의 대학 및 지역기관을 활용하여 힐링·웰니스·진로체험을 기반으로 한 투어프로그램을 개발했다.
이를 통해 힐링로드 팸투어까지 성공적으로 완료하여 관광상품화의 가능성을 충분히 보여주었으며, 지역문화 및 산업 자원을 활용한 지역관광 활성화에도 시사하는 바가 크다는 평가를 받았다.
Health-Up팀의 오혜성(임상병리학과 3학년) 학생은 “이번 경진대회를 준비하는 과정에서 지역사회의 다양한 상황을 파악하게 되고 이를 실행해 볼 수 있는 매우 뜻 깊은 기회가 주어지게 되어 감사하게 생각한다. 아직은 많이 부족하지만 앞으로 더 많은 관심을 가지고 지역사회 문제해결에 참여하고 싶다”고 대상의 소감을 밝혔다.
Smart Healing Road팀의 김지민(호텔관광학전공 2학년) 학생은“관광콘텐츠를 만들어 가는 과정이 힘들고 어려웠지만 학우들과 팀을 이루어 해결해 가는 과정들을 통해 전공지식을 현장에 활용할 수 있었고, 체험형 관광상품을 만들어 지역사회에 공헌 할 수 있어서 매우 의미 있는 기회였다”라고 수상 소감을 전했다.
대구한의대학교 LINC+사업단 박수진단장은 “대학이 지역사회와 동반성장할 수 있도록 그간 우리 대학이 전방위적 쌍방향 산학협력 활동을 전개한 결과로 오늘의 성과를 이루어 보람이 크다”며 “3년 연속 대상이라는 전무후무한 성과를 거둔 대구한의대 학생들의 저력이 지역사회 발전의 밀알이 되도록 적극적인 지원을 해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
