경북교육청(교육감 임종식)의 감사관 직원들이 10년째 장학금 지급 선행을 이어가고 있다.
최근 경북교육청은 청렴인성 장학생 8명을 선정해 청렴인성장학금 2백만 원을 지급한다고 밝혔다.

청렴인성장학금은 지역인재 양성을 위해 지난 2012년 감사관 소속 직원들이 뜻을 모아 ‘청렴인성장학회’를 결성해 지급하는 장학금이다.
이를 통해 직원 기탁금, 감사원평가 시상금 등으로 10여 년간 229명의 학생에게 3,700만 원의 장학금을 지급했다.
올해 청렴인성 장학생은 종합감사 우수학교에서 모범이 되는 학생들을 추천받아 다문화가정 학생 4명을 포함한 초·중·고등학교 학생 8명을 선정했다.
청렴인성장학회 회장인 김혜정 감사관은 “청렴한 경북교육을 위한 직원들의 의지와 활동들이 청렴 꿈나무들의 배움과 성장에 밑거름이 되면 좋겠다”며“또한 직원들이 사회공헌활동을 확대할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
