계명대(총장 신일희)가 의예과 권택규 교수와 약학과 천경수 교수의 논문이 나란히 국제학술지에 등재되며, BRIC(생물학연구정보센터) 한빛사(한국을 빛낸 사람들)에 선정됐다는 소식을 전했다.

BRIC은 생명과학분야의 학술지 가운데 IF 10 이상의 학술지에 논문을 게재해 세계에 우리나라의 연구위상을 높이고, 연구성과를 거둔 연구자들을 엄선해‘한국을 빛내는 사람들’로 선정하고 있다.
이번에 한빛사에 선정된 권택규, 천경수 교수는 계명대 BK21사업단인 ‘포렌식 약과학자 전문인력양성사업단’의 지원을 바탕으로 연구성과를 논문으로 발표해 국제학술지에 등재되며, 세계적으로 인정받았다.
권택규 교수(교신저자)는 우선민, 서성은(주저자) 박사는 ‘멜라토닌의 탈유비퀴틴화 효소 매개 단백질 안정화 조절을 통한 항암효과에 관한 연구’를 통해 뇌에서 분비되는 생체호르몬인 멜라토닌을 항암치료에 활용하는 것을 제안하는 논문을 발표했다.
천경수 교수는 ‘파이토케미컬의 면역인자 조절 연구에 관한 총설’이란 논문을 통해 파이토케미칼(phytochemical)을 잠재적인 암 면역치료 요법으로 활용하는 것을 제안했다.
