브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= bhc치킨이 17일 가정폭력으로부터 피해를 입은 이주여성을 위한 보호시설을 방문해 기부금 3000만 원을 전달했다.
bhc치킨은 다문화 가정이 늘어나고 있는 가운데 가정폭력으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 이주여성과 동반 자녀들에게 도움을 드리고자 BSR(bhc+CSR) 프로그램 일환으로 기부금을 전달하게 됐다고 설명했다.
이날 기부금 전달식에는 bhc치킨 김충현 상무와 가정폭력 피해 이주여성 쉼터 관계자들이 참석했다.
가정폭력 피해 이주여성 쉼터는 다문화 가정에서 폭력으로 인해 피해를 입은 이주여성과 자녀를 보호하고 사회 적응에 필요한 상담과 다양한 프로그램을 통해 사회 재진출을 돕고 있는 기관이다.
bhc치킨 김충현 상무는 “이주 여성들 또한 우리 사회의 어엿한 구성원으로서 한국 사회에 안정적인 정착을 위해서 더 많은 사회적 관심이 필요하다”며 “이주 여성들의 인권보호를 위한 쉼터 관계자의 노력에 감사드리며 저희의 작은 정성이 피해 여성들과 자녀분들이 새로운 출발과 자립하는데 작게나마 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
