한중도시우호협회(회장 권기식)측은 20일자 보도자료에서 “주한중국대사관(대사 싱하이밍)이 매년 공동개최하는 한중우호청년포럼이 한중 양국 정부로부터 높이 평가 받고 있다. 한중우호청년포럼이 지난 14일 외교부 주관으로 열린 '2021-2022 한중 문화교류의 해' 중간 점검 회의에서 총 160개 교류 사업 중 상하이박물관 소장 특별전, 중국 둔황국제문화박람회 등과 함께 우수 사례로 선정됐다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “한중우호청년포럼은 한중 대학생들이 모여 한중 우호 증진 방안을 논의한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다. 이에 앞서 지난해 11월 23일 자오리젠(趙立堅) 중국 외교부 대변인은 한중우호청년포럼에 대한 지지입장을 밝혔으며, 주한중국대사관도 최근 한중우호청년포럼을 정례행사로 선정했다. 한중우호청년포럼은 한중 미래세대의 교류와 협력을 목적으로 한중도시우호협회와 주한중국대사관이 공동으로 기획해 지난 2020년 서울 포럼을 시작으로 해마다 전국을 순회하며 행사를 열고 있으며, 올해 행사는 지난 10월 27일 대구에서 개최됐다”고 알렸다.
권기식 한중도시우호협회장은 "한중도시우호협회와 주한중국대사관이 공동으로 기획해 운영하는 한중우호청년포럼이 한중 양국 정부로부터 높은 평가를 받게 돼 기쁘다"며 "앞으로 한중 대학생을 포함한 청년들의 명품 교류 플랫폼이 되도록 운영하겠다"고 말했다.
