더불어민주당 대구광역시당 선출직공직자평가위원회가 내년 지방선거를 앞두고 당 소속 대구 광역 및 기초의원에 대한 심사를 종료했다고 밝혔다.

더불어민주당 대구시당 선출직공직자평가위원회는 지난 10월 18일 임시회의를 시작으로 12월 20일까지 선출직공직자 평가기준과 방법 시안을 마련하고 면접을 통한 지방의원 대면평가, 의원 상호 다면평가, 당원평가 등을 이어왔다.
평가위원회는 광역의원 5명, 기초의원 43명 전원을 대상으로 선출직공직자에 대한 도덕성, 공약 정합성 및 이행 평가, 의정활동, 지역 활동 등에 대해 정성 및 정량 평가를 실시 하였으며 해당 평가 결과는 파일로 봉인되어 내년에 꾸려질 공천기구로 이관되어 공천기구의 심사내용·결과에 반영될 예정이다.
더불어민주당 대구시당은 “내년 지방선거 공천에 더욱 만전을 기해 더 많은 대구시민들의 선택을 받을 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”며 지방선거에 대한 다짐을 밝혔다.
