더불어민주당 대통령 선거대책위원회의 문화강국 대구경북위원회가 출범했다.
지난 22일 민주당 대구시당 강당에서 열린 출범식에는 중앙선대위 문화강국 도종환 위원장, 박창달 대구경북선대위 총괄선대위원장, 김대진 시당위원장 등이 참석했다.

대구경북위원회는 전국위원회 중 부산에 이어 두 번째로 출범하였으며 김용락 상임공동대표와 20대 대학생인 박지해, 성악가 마혜선, 무대감독 서동석 등 다양한 문화예술인으로 구성된 공동대표 20명과 회원 5천여 명이 참여한 것으로 알려진다.
이들은 공동대표단 명의로 발표한 선언문을 통해“문화의 대전환으로 만드는 문화국가는 이재명 후보만이 할 수 있다”며 “문화강국 대구경북위원회는 내년 3월 9일 이재명 대통령과 함께 문화강국 원년을 만들겠다”고 선언했다.
이와 함께 △지역문화의 창의적 발전방안 △지역예술인의 자립기반 △지역주민의 문화 욕구 충족방안 △ 지역의 문화 불평등 해소 방안 등 다양한 주제로 토론과 포럼 등을 열어 내년 1월 이후 이재명 후보에게 제출해 정책에 반영되도록 할 계획을 밝히기도 했다.
