신천지예수교회측은 12월27일자 “신천지 요한계시록 세미나 성료 '1천 명 목회자와 MOU'”제목의 보도자료를 통해“요한계시록의 비밀이 풀리는 광경을 지켜본 전 세계 1,200여 목회자들이 신천지예수교 증거장막성전(총회장 이만희·이하 신천지예수교회)과 함께할 뜻을 밝혀 이목이 집중되고 있다”면서 “지난 10월 18일부터 12월 23일까지 신천지예수교회에서 요한계시록 전장을 본문으로 ‘하나님의 새 언약 계시록 예언과 성취 증거’ 온라인 세미나를 연 가운데, 강의를 수강한 세계 각국 기독교 목회자들이 신천지예수교회와 업무협약(MOU)를 맺고 있다”고 알렸다.

이만희 신천지예수교회 총회장은 27일 요한계시록 세미나 마지막 특강에서 “계시록 예언 및 성취 내용을 지구촌 각국에 널리 전하기 위해 12지파장들을 통해 장(章)별 세미나 형태로 전해왔다”며 “목사님이 들었으니 자신의 교회 성도들에게 배운 내용을 알려서 영생의 양식으로 먹여줘야 한다”고 강조했다. 이어 “해외의 모든 목사님들이 자신의 나라에서 계시록을 가르칠 수 있게 하기 위해 연수원을 준비해놓았다”며 “우리 모두 하나가 되어 같은 하나님을 믿는 한 가족이라는 것을 세상이 다 알도록 하자”고 당부했다.

지난 10월 18일 이 총회장의 계시록 1장 강의를 시작으로 12지파장들이 유튜브를 통해 진행한 요한계시록 세미나는 138개국 24개 언어로 송출됐으며, 700만뷰(전체 누적)를 돌파했다. 세미나에는 현재까지 총 1만 6천여 명(국내 4천 명, 해외 1만2천여 명)의 목회자들이 참여한 것으로 알려졌다.
40년간 목회를 해 온 박 모 목사는 “명강사, 명강의가 계속 이어지고 있다. 기성교회에서는 이런 설교를 못한다. 끝까지 다 듣고 정리해 대화를 나눠보고 싶다”고 말했다. 또 김 모 목사는 “이 말씀이 맞다. 다른 사람들도 부정하지 못할 것이다. 이단이라고만 할게 아니라 들어보고 판단해야 한다”고 강조했다.
교회 담임을 맡고 있는 박 모 목사는 “총회장님의 계시록 1장 강의를 듣고 충격을 받았다. 그동안 내가 알고 있던 신천지예수교회가 아니었다. 신천지예수교회 말씀을 제대로 배워볼 것”이라고 소감을 밝혔다.
