대구방문한 김혜경, 사회복지유권자연맹과 간담회 가져

더불어민주당 대선주자인 이재명 후보의 배우자 김혜경 씨가 29일 대구를 방문해 대구사회복지유권자연맹과 간담회를 가졌다.

이날 간담회는 김혜경 씨와 더불어민주당 이해식 국회의원, 박창달 대구경북선대위 총괄선대위원장을 비롯한 민주당 관계자들과 대구사회복지유권자연맹 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.

간담회에 앞서 김혜경 씨는 “국민을 돌보는 최일선의 영역에서 노력하는 분들을 보니 숙연한 마음이 든다”면서 “아이들이 행복하려면 엄마가 행복해야 하는 것처럼 돌봄을 받는 분들이 행복하려면 돌보시는 분들이 좋은 환경에서 일할 수 있어야한다고 생각한다.”고 인사말을 전했다.

아울러 “후보가 직접 와서 이야기를 들었다면 좋았을 텐데 제가 오게 되어 아쉽겠지만 편하게 이야기 해주시면 잘 전달하겠다.”는 말을 덧붙였다.

이어 김혜경 씨는 간담회를 통해 코로나19의 장기화로 어려움이 가중되고 있는 사회복지사의 현황 및 실태, 그에 따른 고민 등을 청취하였으며 오후에는 김천 경북서부노인보호전문기관에서 다문화 가정들과의 만남을 가질 예정이다.
