창원시, 진해신항 예비타당성조사 통과

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 28일 진해신항 건설사업 1단계가 기획재정부 재정사업평가위원회 심사 결과 예비타당성조사 통과되었다고 밝혔다.

진해신항(1단계) 예비타당성조사는 지난 20일 기획재정부 분과위원회와 28일 재정사업평가위원회 심사를 거쳐 최종 통과했다.

진해신항은 대규모 장기간 건설되는 사업 특성을 고려해 전체 사업규모는 21선석으로 유지하되 우선적으로 1단계에 대한 예비타당성조사가 금번에 통과되었으며, 7.9조원이 투입되는 진해신항(1단계) 공사는 2022년 기초조사용역을 시작으로 2023년 외곽시설 착공, 2031년까지 접안시설 9선석과 부지조성을 마무리할 계획이다.
