[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 29일 마산합포구 진전면에 들어설 진전119안전센터의 본격적인 건립 사업의 시작을 위해 신축청사 기공식을 개최했다.
허성무 시장을 비롯해 도의원, 시의원 등 50여 명이 참석했으며, 행사는 강화된 코로나19 방역수칙을 준수하며 진행됐다.
마산합포구 진전면 오서리 289-1번지에 들어설 진전119안전센터는 사업비 43억원을 들여 지상 2층, 연면적 984.67㎡ 규모로 건립된다.
그동안 진동.진전.진북면은 삼진119안전센터에서 모든 출동을 관할해 시민의 안전을 지켜왔다. 이번 신축으로 불균등한 소외지역에 재난 발생 시 빠른 대응으로 골든타임을 확보할 수 있어 보다 나은 소방서비스를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
