대구시교육청, 3월 신설학교 개교 준비 박차

대구시교육청(강은희 교육감)은 새롭게 문을 여는 신설학교 개교준비에 박차를 가한다.

대구시교육청은 2022년 3월 신설학교 3곳의 개교업무 추진 상황에 대해 중점 점검을 실시했다고 5일 밝혔다.

오는 3월에 개교하는 학교는 ▲서구 비산동(인지초 부지 내)에 대구 최초 장애통합형 단설유치원인 대구인지유치원 ▲북구 국우동 도남지구 내 대구국우초등학교(병설유 포함) ▲북구 복현동에 직업교육 중점 특수학교인 대구이룸고등학교다.

이를 위해 지난해 교장, 행정실장을 개교 준비요원으로 사전 겸임 발령하여 시설 및 운영 전반에 대한 준비를 하고 있으며, 관련 부서에서는 학교별 개선사항 등 사전 의견을 제출받아 학교 시설 공사에 반영하는 등 학생과 교직원이 사용에 불편함이 없도록 조치하고 있다.

또한, 지난 4일에는 개교 전 교육청 관련 부서장이 참여하는 신설학교 개교업무 추진 협의회를 개최해 학교별 개교 준비 상황 및 공사 진행 상황 등을 꼼꼼하게 점검했다.

대구시교육청 관계자는 “개교 시까지 학교별 개교업무추진 상황을 매주 점검하여, 개교에 차질이 없도록 남은 기간 공사 및 관련 업무 추진에 만전을 기하겠다.“고 말했다.
