[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경남도립극단이 2022년을 함께 할 상근객원단원·청년연수단원 위촉식을 열었다.
10일 경남문화예술회관에서 진행된 위촉식에는 강동옥 경남도립예술단부단장, 도립극단 박장렬 예술감독, 상근객원단원과 청년연수단원 등 20여 명이 참석했다.
지난달, 단원 공개모집에는 전국에서 우수한 인재들이 지원했고, 실기 및 면접전형을 거쳐 상근객원단원 6명, 청년연수단원 3명 등 최종 9명의 단원이 선발됐다.
경남 연극의 미래를 위한 젊은 인재를 육성하고, 도내·외 청년 예술인의 경남 유입을 위해 추진된 경남도립극단 청년연수단원은 올해 2기 단원을 맞이했다.
2기 청년연수단원으로 선발된 이세진씨는 “올 2월 대학을 졸업하고 바로 도립극단 단원으로 근무하게 되어 기대가 크다”며 “지난해 1기 단원들이 1년 동안 눈부시게 성장을 했다는 이야기를 들었다. 한 해 동안 성실하게 배우고 연습해서 멋진 배우로 거듭나고 싶다”며 포부를 밝혔다.
도립극단은 박경리 작가의 ‘소설 토지’를 연극화한 ‘연극 토지Ⅰ’으로 2020년 경남도민을 처음 만났다. 창단공연 ‘연극 토지Ⅰ’은 서울 예술의전당 지역우수공연, 부산국제연극제 폐막공연으로 초정되어 평단과 관객의 호평을 받았고, 작년 10월 후속작 ‘연극 토지Ⅱ’ 는 정기공연 만석을 기록하며 ‘연극 토지’의 대장정을 완성했다.
올해 도립극단은 2월 ‘연극 토지Ⅱ’ 거제 순회공연을 시작으로 4월, 10월 정기 공연과 순회공연, 기획공연 등 풍성한 공연으로 경남도민과 관객을 찾을 예정이다.
‘연극 토지Ⅱ’에서 김환 역을 맡은 한갑수 상근객원단원은 “지난해 내 연극의 고향과 같은 경남에서 ‘연극 토지Ⅱ’를 함께 하면서 너무 행복한 시간을 보냈다”며 “올해는 상근단원으로 함께 하는 만큼 경남도민과 관객들에게 더 큰 감동을 전해드리겠다”고 말했다.
