[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 아름다운 바다를 배경으로 가야시대를 재현한 창원 해양드라마세트장이 새롭게 태어난다.
창원시는 2022년도 관광자원개발 균형발전특별회계 지방이양사업에 ‘해양드라마세트장 리모델링사업’과 ‘파도소리길 안전탐방로 조성사업’이 선정됐다고 17일 밝혔다.
시는 이달 중 마산합포구 구산면 석곡리에 자리한 해양드라마세트장 일대에 총 사업비 38억 원을 들여 주요 시설을 리모델링하고, 세트장이 있는 명주마을 주변에 해안 탐방로를 조성한다. 2023년 12월 준공 목표로 이달 중 기본 및 실시설계용역에 들어간다.
지난 2010년 MBC드라마 <김수로> 촬영을 계기로 조성된 해양드라마세트장은 선박이 드나드는 옛 포구를 비롯해 저잣거리, 수상가옥 등 가야시대 분위기를 정교하게 재현했다. 흔치 않은 바다를 낀 세트장으로 지금까지 65여 편의 영화 및 드라마가 이곳에서 촬영됐다. 세트장 인근에는 해안 절경을 낀 소나무 숲길을 따라 걸을 수 있는 파도소리길(1.7㎞)이 있다.
