[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 이재명 후보 배우자 김혜경 씨 26일 경남 진주와 사천을 방문해 민심 행보를 이어갔다.
김혜경 씨는 오전 경남 진주 한국실크연구원을 찾아 생산 시설과 전시실 등을 둘러보며, 실크 재킷을 직접 입어보며 생산현장의 목소리를 들었다.
김혜경 씨는 “대한민국에서도 명품으로 손꼽히는 품질의 진주실크가 많이 알려지지 않아서 안타깝다”면서 “평생을 실크산업에 몸담아오신 분들이 진주실크를 번영시키고 살리기 위한 의견을 주시면 진주실크가 대한민국을 넘어 세계시장으로 진출할 수 있도록 머리 맞대고 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
이어진 간담회에서는 △실크산업을 제조업이 아닌 전통문화산업으로 보고 지원책 마련, △주요 회의나 행사 때 실크 넥타이와 한복 입는 분위기 조성, △직접 생산자 인증 등 조달청 나라장터 관련 제도 개선 등 다양한 의견을 나누었다.
이후 사천시로 이동하여 사천 다문화 아열대 채소농장에 방문했으며 사천 다문화 통합지원센터가 다문화가정의 경제적 자립을 위해 운영하는 곳으로 김혜경 씨는 공심채를 수확하는 봉사활동에 참여했다.
수확한 공심채를 포장하면서 김혜경 씨는 “우리 식구들이 공심채 요리를 좋아한다”고 말하고 “공심채를 이용한 요리 방법을 알리면 판매 증가에 도움이 될 것 같다”고 말했다.
김혜경 씨는 경남 진주와 사천에 이어 고성에서 당원과 지지자들을 만나고, 거제를 방문하여 로컬푸드 돌봄 도시락 봉사활동을 하였으며 27일에는 통영 굴 박신장 현장을 방문해 체험과 함께 현장의 목소리를 듣는 행보를 이어갈 예정이다.
