[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 행정안전부는 2일 ‘2021년 지방자치단체 생산성 대상’ 평가 결과를 발표하고, 생산성 향상을 통해 주민 삶의 질을 높인 우수 지방자치단체 15곳과 우수사례 12건을 각각 선정했다고 밝혔다.
행정안전부는 지난 2011년부터 기초 지방자치단체(시·군·구)의 종합적인 행정역량을 평가하는 ‘지방자치단체 생산성대상’을 통해 지방자치단체의 경쟁력 강화를 유도해오고 있다.
생산성이 높은 자치단체란 지역이 지닌 인적·물적·사회적 자본역량을 효과적으로 활용하여 경제, 환경, 문화, 복지 등 주민 삶의 질을 향상시키고 지속 가능한 성장을 유도한 자치단체를 의미한다.
2021년 지방자치단체 생산성대상 평가는 17개 세부 지표에 의한 생산성 지수 측정, 4개 분야에 대한 생산성 우수사례 선정 두 개 부문으로 나누어 평가를 실시했다.
