브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대선후보가 다른 후보들에게 '국민통합 정부'를 제안하는 등 반(反) 윤석열 연대를 만드려 한 사실이 확인됐다.
25일 조원진 우리공화당 후보측 관계자는 "어제 조 후보와 이재명 후보가 2차례 전화통화를 한 것으로 알고 있다"면서 "이 후보가 서로 같이 해야될 부분이 많지 않겠느냐며 국민통합정부를 제안해왔다"고 밝혔다.
이에 조 후보측에선 서로의 정치 성향 상 간극이 있기 때문에 통합정부는 힘들겠다고 거부하자, 이 후보는 다시 정책 연대를 제안했다고 한다. 조 후보는 정책 연대도 힘들 것 같다고 거절하며 대신 정책토론회를 열자고 역제안했고, 이 후보도 정책토론 개최에 대해선 공감을 표했다고 전했다.
앞서 송영길 민주당 대표는 "국민 통합 정부를 만들겠다"며 대통령 4년 중임제와 대선 결선 투표제 개헌 등이 포함된 '정치 개혁안'을 발표한 바 있다. 다당제 연합 정치를 내세우며 윤석열 후보를 제외한 대선후보들에게 연대를 제안한 것이다.
다만 조원진 후보는 25일 유세에서 "박근혜 대통령에 대한 사과가 없는 이재명 후보의 국민통합 메시지는 대국민 사기극에 불과하다"고 강하게 비판했다.
조 후보는 이날 오전 경기도 성남 미금역 유세에서 "이재명 후보는 과거 성남시장 시절인 2016년 12월 6일 자신의 페북에 ‘인간이길 포기한 대통령’이라고 막말을 서슴지 않았다"며 "그는 ‘박근혜 대통령이 머리 올리느라 90분이라며 청와대를 나와서는 순간 체포하여 구치소로 보내고 법정최고형을 선고한 후 남은 평생을 감옥에서 반성하며 보내게 해야 한다’고 말했다"고 전했다.
이어 그는 "이재명 후보는 세월호 소유자가 국정원이라는 둥, 박근혜 대통령의 7시간을 추적한다는 둥, 최순실 은닉재산 10조원을 환수해야 한다는 둥 흔히 말하는 사이비 유튜버들이 하는 말들을 일삼았다"면서 "지금와서 국민통합을 한다는 이재명의 말은 그야말로 대국민 사기극이다. 지금이라도 박근혜 대통령께 먼저 사과하는 것이 진정한 국민통합의 지름길"이라고 주장했다.
그러면서 "지금 국민들 중에서 이재명 후보와 김혜경씨보다 도덕적으로 떨어지는 사람은 아무도 없을 정도로 이들의 국민 사기극은 처참하게 드러나지 않았나. 이 후보가 진정으로 국민통합을 하겠다고 하면 지금이라고 박근혜 대통령에게 한 증오의 말, 저주의 말, 악마의 거짓말들을 반성하고 박근혜 대통령께 무릎 끓고 사과해야 한다"고 했다.
