대덕연구단지 연구원과 충청권 교수 등 515명이 25일 이재명 더불어민주당 대통령후보 지지선언에 나섰다.
과학기술미래전략위원회 한주동 위원장을 비롯한 김수경박사, 조은영 책임연구원, 이왕기·장수찬 목원대 교수 등은 이날 더불어민주당 대전시당에서 기자회견을 갖고 “대전환의 시기를 맞아 과학기술을 바탕으로 세계 5강의 경제대국을 이룩하겠다는 비전을 제시한 이재명 후보를 공개 지지한다”고 밝혔다.
이들은 지지 선언에서 “이재명 후보가 약속한 과학기술부총리제 도입, 과학기술인력 폭넓은 양성 등 과학기술 7대 공약은 우리나라가 5대 경제 강국을 선도하는 적합한 추진전략”이라고 강조했다.
