[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 공공데이터를 국민이 편리하게 활용할 수 있도록 관리하고 제공하고 있는 ‘공공데이터 제공 운영 우수기관’이 3년 연속 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
행정안전부는 2일 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 548개 기관을 대상으로 2021년도 ‘공공데이터 제공 운영실태 평가’를 실시하고 그 결과를 국무회의에서 보고했다고 밝혔다.
공공데이터 제공 운영실태는 ?공공데이터 개방, ?활용, ?품질, ?관리체계, ?기타(가·감점) 등 5개 영역의 16개 지표를 선정하고 2020년 10월부터 2021년 9월까지의 기관별 운영 실적을 평가했다.
2021년도 평가 결과를 종합해 보면, 2018년도 첫 평가 이후 우수기관 비율은 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 기관유형별로는 중앙행정기관과 광역자치단체가 우수한 것으로 평가되었다.
우수기관의 비율은 2019년 23.1%에서 2020년 32.0%, 2021년 33.9%로 3년 연속 증가한 것으로 나타났다.
특히, 기관유형 중 광역자치단체는 공공데이터 제공 운영 수준이 지난해 대비 가장 많이 향상되어, 개방과 활용영역에서 중앙행정기관과 유사한 수준을 나타냈다.
반면 창원시는 김해시, 양산시, 진주시 등과 함께 보통으로 평가받아 상당 부분이 개선돼야 할 것으로 평가 받았다.
