브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 제20대 대통령선거 사전투표 첫 날인 4일 여야 유력 대선 후보들이 사전투표에 참여했다.
먼저 이재명 더불어민주당 후보는 이날 오전 서울 중구 소공동 주민센터에 마련된 사전투표소에서 투표했다. 투표하기 위해 줄 뒤에 선 이재명 후보는 자신을 알아보는 국민들과 셀카를 찍어주며 순서를 기다렸다.
투표를 마친 뒤 이재명 후보는 "정치는 국민이 하는 것이고 승리는 언제나 국민의 몫"이라며 "국민과 함께 반드시 승리해서 통합, 경제, 평화의 길을 확고하게 열어가겠다"고 소감을 밝히기도 했다. SNS에 투표 인증샷을 올리는 것도 잊지 않았다.
윤석열 국민의힘 후보의 경우 부산 대연동 남구청에 마련된 사전투표소에서 한 표를 행사했다. 배우자인 김건희씨는 동행하지 않았고 서울의 한 사전투표소에서 별도로 투표한 것으로 전해졌다.
윤 후보는 투표 이후 부산 남구 유엔기념공원에서 참배를 마친 뒤 기자들과 만나 "국민 여러분께서 이 정권을 교체하고 새로운 희망을 찾기 위해서는 사전투표를 반드시 해야 한다"며 투표를 독려했다. '왜 부산에서 투표했느냐'는 질문에는 "오늘 일정이 부산쪽이었기 때문"이라며 "남구청 투표는 제가 20년 전에 부산 근무할 때 살던 동네여서 감회가 새롭다"고 말했다.
심상정 정의당 대선 후보는 서울 종로구 혜화동 주민센터에 마련된 사전투표소를 찾았다. 심상정 후보는 이날 배우자 이승배 씨와 아들 이우균 씨, 정의당 종로 국회의원 보궐선거에 출마한 배복주 후보와 함께 사전투표를 했다.
