브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이낙연 더불어민주당 선거대책위원회 총괄선대위원장은 9일 제20대 대통령선거 출구조사에서 초접전 양상으로 나온데 대해 "크게 고무됐다"고 기대감을 드러냈다.
이낙연 위원장은 이날 출구조사 결과 발표 이후 KBS와 가진 인터뷰에서 "저희가 걱정했던 것보다 더 접전으로 나와서 새벽까지 긴장을 늦추지 않고 개표상황을 지켜보겠다"고 말했다.
이어 이 위원장은 "저희들은 큰 기대를 갖고 있다"며 "그동안 국가 미래에 대해 많은 국민들께서 고심이 크셨겠구나 느끼고 있다"고 말했다.
이 위원장은 '출구조사 결과 발표 이후 이재명 후보와 연락을 해봤느냐'는 질문엔 "연락해보지 않았다"며 "아마 자택에서 개표 결과를 보고 있을 것이다. 어느 정도 당선 윤곽이 잡히면 이곳으로 나오실 것"이라고 답했다.
한편 이날 출구조사 결과 초박빙 양상으로 나타나자 민주당 개표상황실에선 안도의 한숨과 함께 크게 고무된 분위기였다. 송영길 대표를 비롯한 일부 의원들은 환호성을 지르며 박수를 치기도 했다.
