브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 당선인의 측근으로 꼽히는 권성동 국민의힘 의원은 11일 대통령직인수위원회에 들어갈 생각이 없다고 밝혔다.
권성동 의원은 이날 오전 KBS 라디오 '최경영의 최강시사'에서 "인수위엔 안 들어간다. 비판받을 짓을 뭐하러 하나"라며 "장제원 비서실장에 저까지 들어가면 정치권이나 언론에서 가만히 놔두겠나"라고 말했다.
그는 "저는 국회의원으로서 역할에 충실하는 것이 윤석열 당선인을 돕는 길"이라며 "제가 윤석열 캠프에 들어간 것 역시 오로지 정권교체만 바라보고 한 것"이라고 했다.
권 의원은 안철수 국민의당 대표와 윤 당선인간 회동에 대해 "(위수위원장 수락 여부) 결과가 나오지 않을까 싶다"며 "만약에 안철수 대표가 인수위원장이 된다면 부위원장은 좀 더 실무에 능통한 사람이 될 가능성이 높다"고 내다봤다.
그는 전날 CBS라디오에 출연해 "안철수 대표 본인의 뜻만 있다면 맡아도 되지 않을까 생각한다"며 "본인이 인수위원장을 하겠다는 의지가 있고, 성과를 낼 자신이 있으면 맡는 것이고, 또 자리만 차지하고 성과를 내는 데 자신이 없다면 맡지 않을 것"이라고 말했다.
인수위 구성에 대해서도 "인수위는 차기 정부의 국정 방향과 국정과제를 다 해야 하기 때문에 정말 경험있고 유능한 사람들로 구성해 차기 정부가 지향해야 할 방향을 제시해야 한다"고 강조했다.
