충남도가 11일 공주대 천안캠퍼스에서 ‘첨단분말소재부품센터 출범식’을 갖고 천안시, 공주대, 20개 관련 기업 및 첨단분말소재부품센터와 사업 추진을 위한 업무 협약을 맺었다.
이날 협약식에는 양승조 지사와 박상돈 천안시장, 원성수 공주대 총장, 홍순직 첨단분말소재부품센터장, 기업 대표 등이 참석했다.
이날 출범한 첨단분말소재부품센터는 오는 2025년까지 △분말 제조 기술, 분말 가공·성형·소결 기술, 분말 소재 융합 기술 지원 △시제품 제작 지원 △제품군 데이터 구축 및 마케팅 지원에 나선다. 또 센터 내 관련 중소기업 연구소 유치와 산업체·대학·대학원생 연계 프로그램도 진행한다.
협약으로 각 기관은 △지역 소재·부품·장비 산업 발전과 경제 활성화를 위한 산·학·관 관계망 구축 및 교류 강화 △소재·부품·장비 산업 신규 일자리 창출 및 관련 행사 공동 개최 △지역 소재·부품·장비 산업 관련 기업의 고부가가치 신제품 개발, 어려움 해결을 위한 장비와 기술을 지원한다.
양승조 지사는 “우리 도는 지역적·산업적 강점을 바탕으로 소재·부품의 국산화 및 차세대 분말·소재 부품시장의 신산업을 창출할 것”이라며 “기간산업·신산업 육성에 부응하는 기술력 개선으로 금속분말 부품산업의 세계 경쟁력을 확보하고 강력한 기업 지원으로 강소기업 육성 및 중소기업 생산성 증대, 고용 확대도 이룰 것”이라고 강조했다.
