[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시의회는 11일 ‘창원시 아동의회’ 구성을 위해 창원시, 초록우산어린이재단 경남아동옹호센터와 3자 업무협약을 체결했다.
‘창원시 아동의회’는 창원에 거주 또는 재학 중인 만 10~15세 아동 20명으로 구성된 아동 참여기구이다. 이날 협약식에서 세 기관은 유엔아동권리협약에 기반한 아동 참여권 실현과 아동이 살기 좋은 창원시를 위한 ‘창원시 아동의회’ 사업에 상호 협력하기로 뜻을 모았다.
이번 협약으로 초록우산어린이재단은 아동의원을 모집 선발하고, 시의회는 상임위원회-아동 간 정책 제안 피드백의 장을 제공하며 본회의 등 전자 회의시스템을 지원한다. 본회의에서 논의된 내용은 시 관련 부서로 전달되며 이후 창원시 아동 정책에 반영될 예정이다.
