한현택 전 동구청장이 17일 대전 동구청장 선거 예비 후보 등록을 마치고 선거를 향한 힘찬 발걸음을 시작했다.
지난 15일 한현택 예비후보는 대전시의회 로비에서 기자회견을 열고 ‘동구의 미래를 새롭게 디자인해, 윤택한 동구를 만들겠다고 밝힌바 있다.
그는 ▶대전역세권 개발과 혁신도시 성공추진 ▶대청호 호반도시 건설추진 ▶30만 인구 동구 건설을 3개 발전 축으로 동구의 미래를 새롭게 디자인 할 것이라고 공약을 제시했다.

한 예비후보는 "지난 8년의 구청장 시절을 포함해 45년 행정 경력의 경험과 전문성을 살려, 동구민들과 함께 구정의 나갈 방향에 대한 의견을 나누고 민원 해결 방안도 함께 모색해 나갈 것"이라며 "구청장으로 당선된 이후, 보다 빠르고 올바른 방향으로 구민들의 미래가 더 행복한 동구를 만들겠다"고 말했다.
한편, 한현택 동구청장 예비후보( 만66세)는 충남 금산 출생으로 대전중, 충남고, 한남대학교(회계학과 학사), 대전대학교 경영행정사회복지대학원(사회복지 석사), 대전대학교 행정학과(박사과정)을 수료했다.
