브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 당선인측은 21일 대통령 집무실의 용산 이전에 따른 합동참모본부 이전 비용에 대해 "만약 남태령으로 이전할 경우 1200억원 정도 들지 않을까 생각한다"고 밝혔다.
김은혜 당선인 대변인은 이날 인수위 사무실에서 가진 브리핑에서 '합참 이전 비용이나 관저 신축 비용에 대한 추계가 가능한가'라는 질문에 이같이 답했다.
윤 당선인은 전날 가진 기자회견에서 용산 집무실 이전 비용에 대해 496억원으로 추산된다고 발표 한 바 있다.
구체적으로 국방부의 합참 건물 이전 비용 118억원, 국방부 청사 리모델링 252억원, 경호처 이전비 99억9700만원, 한남동 공관 리모델링 25억원 등 총 496억원이 소요될 것이라고 추산했다. 여기엔 합참의 이전 비용은 포함되지 않았다.
김은혜 대변인은 청와대가 전면 공개되면서 오는 가치를 고려해야 한다고 강조했다. 그는 "현대사의 영욕이 녹아들고 산 교육의 장인 청와대를 공개한다면 오히려 가치를 논의해도 되지 않을까"라며 "(집무실 이전을) 내각이나 참모 위에 군림하는 대통령이 되지 않겠다는 약속의 방증이다. 실질적인 정치 개혁의 시작이 이뤄졌다고 봐달라"고 당부했다.
국방부를 이전 시킬 수 있는 법적 근거가 있는지에 대해선 "인수위법 7조를 보면 인수위 업무에 따른 것뿐만 아니라 관계 부처에 협조 요청을 할 수 있는 근거가 마련돼 있다"면서 "(청와대와도) 특별한 돌출 변수가 생기지 않을 것이란 가정하에 상호 협의가 잘 이뤄질 것으로 기대한다"고 말했다.
