국가철도공단, 코레일과 ‘LTE-R 상생톡톡 협의회’ 가져

국가철도공단이 철도통합무선망(LTE-R) 사업의 현안 해결과 협력체계 강화를 위해 코레일과 ‘철도통합무선망(LTE-R) 상생톡톡(Talk Talk) 협의회’를 개최했다고 29일 밝혔다.

 철도통합무선망(LTE-R)은 4세대 무선통신 기술인 LTE를 철도환경에 최적화한 열차무선시스템으로 실시간 영상 전송, 그룹 통화 등을 통해 관제사, 기관사, 역무원 등에게 정보를 동시에 제공해 유지보수 편의성과 열차 운행 안전성 확보에 기여한다.

협의회에서 양 기관은 ▲ LTE-R 망을 활용한 열차 운행 권역별 통화그룹 자동전환 ▲ 선로변 안테나 설치 방법 최적화  ▲ LTE-R 기지국 설치 우선 반영 등 19개 안건에 대해 논의하고, 철도통합무선망(LTE-R) 사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 상호 협력하기로 했다.
