대전시의회 권중순 의장이 29일 대전시립미술관에서‘불보다 뜨겁게 바람보다 서늘하게’라는 전시제목으로 열린 대전시립미술관 현대공예 전시 개막식에 참석했다.
개막식에는 권중순 의장을 비롯해 허태정 대전시장, 대전시의회 홍종원 행정자치위원장, 설동호 교육감, 대전예총회장, 미술협회장, 참여작가 등이 참석했다.
이 자리에서 권중순 의장은“팝아트의 선구자 앤디 워홀은‘예술은 당신이 일상을 벗어날 수 있는 모든 것이다’고 했다”며“이는 미술이 바쁜 일상을 벗어나 삶의 쉼표가 필요할 때 다양한 미술 작품들이 지친 마음을 위로해 주며 치유해 준다는 의미라고 생각하다”고 말했다
이어 “우리 지역 작가 여러분의 멋진 작품을 만나날 수 있는 이번 전시를 통해 시민 여러분께서 좋은 에너지를 많이 담아 가시기를 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 이번 전시에서는 3월 29일부터 5월 22일까지 48일간, 대전ㆍ충청에 기반을 두고 예술혼을 펼쳐나가는 작가 14인, 65점의 작품을 소개한다.
