김은혜 당선인 대변인은 4일 서울 통의동 대통령직인수위원회 사무실에서 정례브리핑을 통해 "국회에 인사청문회를 요청하면 3주 정도는 논의하는 과정이 필요하기 때문에 4월 중순, 적어도 다음주 내에는 새 정부 전체 내각에 대한 발표와 구상을 설명해 드려야 하지 않을까 하는 취지에서 노력하고 있다"고 밝혔다.
김 대변인은 "인선에 절대적인 시간이 필요하기 때문에 아무래도 윤석열 당선인의 이번주 일정은 인선 몰입과 내각 구성에 집중하게 될 것으로 보인다"고 설명했다.
이어 그는 내각 발표와 관련 "우선 경제부총리를 포함해서 속도를 좀 내야할 것 같다"면서도 "하지만 편차가 있어 한번에 다 말씀드리긴 어렵다. 인사라는 게 늘 변동성이 상존하고 있기 때문에 장담할 수도 없다"고 했다.
김 대변인은 "일단은 경제원팀에서의 조각이 하나인 국무총리가 마련됐고 나머지 조각들도 함께 맞추는 과정이 진행 중"이라며 "경제부총리, 금융위원장, 비서실장 등을 함께 조율해 나가고 있다. 각 부처 장관보다는 경제부총리가 우선순위에 있지 않을까 생각하는데 어쨌든 다음 주 중에 할 수 있도록 하려 한다"고 전했다.
