고양시가 지난 5일 산불에 대한 경각심을 높이고 예방활동 강화를 위해 북한산국립공원 입구에서 산불예방캠페인을 실시했다.
이날 캠페인에 고양시 산림공무원과 산불전문예방진화대, 한국전력공사 서울본부 직원 등 50여명이 참여했다.

시는 북한산국립공원을 찾은 등산객에게 산불예방홍보물을 배포하고 산불방지 국민행동요령을 안내하는 등 산불예방 캠페인을 실시하고 북한산 등산로 주변 산지정화 활동을 했다.
시 관계자는 “경북·강원 대형산불로 인한 많은 산림 및 재산 피해가 있었던 만큼 소중한 산림을 보호하고 시민 안전을 지키는 산불예방에 각별한 주의와 협조를 부탁드린다”라고 말했다.
한편, 경기도와 고양시는 대형산불 대책기간(3.5.~4.17.) 동안 농산폐기물 및 쓰레기 소각행위에 대한 기동합동단속을 실시해 소각행위 적발시 30만원의 과태료를 부과하고 있다. 고양=박정호기자
