브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 당선인측은 7일 정부 조직체계 개편과 관련, 서두르지 않겠다는 입장을 공식화 했다. 이에 따라 현 정부의 조직체계에 기반한 새 정부 조각 인선을 발표하겠다고 했다.
안철수 대통령직인수위원장은 이날 서울 통의동 인수위 기자회견장에서 새 정부 조직 개편에 대해 "조급하게 결정해 추진하기보다는 당면 국정 현안에 집중하는 게 바람직하다고 판단했다. 공청회 등을 통해 다양한 의견을 수렴하고, 야당의 의견도 충분히 경청한 뒤 그것을 바탕으로 차분하고 심도 있게, 지금 시대 흐름에 맞는 정부조직 개편안을 만들고 추진할 계획"이라고 밝혔다.
인수위 기획조정분과 간사인 추경호 의원도 '정부조직 개편을 정부출범 후에 하는가'라는 기자의 질문에 "그렇다"고 답하며 "정부 조직개편이라는 형태의 논의는 이제 더이상 인수위에서는 없다는 점을 분명히 말씀드린다"고 못박았다.
안 위원장은 '인선 발표가 이번주 안으로 가능하냐'는 기자의 질문엔 "가능한 빠른 시간 내 중요한 순서대로 인선하겠다는 원칙은 변함없다. 발표 날짜를 확실하게 말씀드리기 힘들지만 여러 가지 검증을 거쳐 최선의 인재를 등용할 생각"이라고 설명했다.
아울러 윤 당선인은 '여성가족부 폐지'를 여러차례 밝혀왔으나, 일단 현 체계에 맞게 여가부 장관 인선도 진행하겠다고 했다.
안철수 위원장은 "여가부 장관도 이번 조각에서 발표할 예정"이라며 "새로 임명될 여가부 장관은 조직에서의 문제점이 무엇인지와 국민을 위해 좀 더 나은 개편방안이 있는지 계획을 수립하는 역할을 맡게 될 것"이라고 했다.
이어 추 의원은 '여가부 폐지 공약을 지키는 건 맞느냐'는 질문엔 "공약은 유효하다. 어떤 식으로 정부 조직 개편에 담아야 할 것인지에 여러 견해가 있어 이걸 밀어붙일 사안이 아니다"라고 부연했다.
해체설이 제기됐던 중소기업벤처부도 그대로 유지된다. 최지현 인수위 수석부대변인은 이날 브리핑에서 "다시 한번 중소기업벤처부를 폐지할 계획이 없다는 점을 분명히 말씀드린다"며 "현행 정부조직대로 인선 예정 중"이라고 했다.
장제원 당선인 비서실장도 이날 인수위 사무실 앞에서 기자들과 만나 "정부조직법 통과는 국회의 몫이다. 저희는 그것이 확정되길 기다렸다 인선을 하면 국정에 굉장한 공백이 생긴다"면서 "이를 방지하기 위해 현 조직법 체계 내에서 우선 인선을 하는 것"이라고 설명했다.
