브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 당선인은 14일 농림축산식품부 장관 후보자에 정황근 전 농업진흥청장, 고용노동부 장관 후보자에 이정식 전 노사발전재단 사무총장 지명을 끝으로 총 19명의 국무위원 인선을 끝마쳤다.
윤석열 당선인은 이날 오후 서울 종로구 통의동 인수위 브리핑룸에서 두 장관 후보자를 발표하며 초대 내각 구성을 마쳤다.
윤 당선인은 정황근 농림부장관 후보자에 대해 "농식품부 요직을 두루 거친 정통 관료 출신"이라며 "농촌정책국장, 농업정책국장, 청와대 농축산식품비서관 지내며 농업정책 전반을 설계하신 분"이라고 소개했다.
이어 "(정 후보자는) 농업진흥청장 재임시절에 기후변화와 농촌 인구 고령화라는 농업 여건 변화를 고려해 첨단융복합 기술 기반 생산성 증대, 스마트 농법전환 등에 헌신했다"며 "농촌이 직면한 현안 해결은 물론 농축산업 경쟁력을 강화해 미래성장산업으로 키워낼 적임자로 판단했다"고 인선 배경을 설명했다.
윤 당선인은 이정식 노동부장관 후보자에 대해선 "30여년간 노동계에 몸 담으며 한국노총 기획조정국장과 사무처장을 지낸 노동분야 전문가"라며 "뿐만 아니라 노사 관계 개혁위원회와 노사정위원회의 전문위원을 역임했고 노사 발전 재단 창립 이래 노동계 출신 최초로 사무총장 지냈다. 노사 관계를 합리적으로 접근하는 전문가로 평가받고 있다"고 설명했다.
윤 당선인은 그러면서 "노동 현장의 풍부한 경험과 전문성을 바탕으로 노동의 가치가 제대로 존중받고 합리적인 노사관계 정립의 밑그림을 그려 낼 적임자"라고 강조했다.
한편 윤 당선인은 이날 발표를 끝으로 한덕수 국무총리 후보자를 비롯해 18개 부처 장관 후보자 인선을 완료했다. 앞서 발표된 장관 후보자로는 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부 추경호, 국방부 이종섭, 문화체육관광부 박보균, 보건복지부 정호영, 여성가족부 김현숙, 산업통상자원부 이창양, 국토교통부 원희룡, 과학기술정보통신부 이종호, 외교부 박진, 통일부 권영세, 법무부 한동훈, 행정안전부 이상민, 환경부 한화진, 해양수산부 조승환, 중소벤처기업부 이영 의원이 있다.
