브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 당선인은 14일 안철수 대통령직인수위원장이 일정을 전면 취소하고 칩거한데 대해 "글쎄 저는 좀 이해가 안된다"고 밝혔다.
윤석열 당선인은 이날 오후 서울 종로구 통의동에서 장관 후보자 인선 발표를 한 뒤 기자들과의 질의응답에서 '안철수 위원장이 내각 인선에 반발하며 공식 일정을 취소했다'는 질문에 "저하고 이야기할 때는 그렇게 안 하시고 또 본인이 어떻게 속으로 생각하는지 제가 알 수 없다"며 이같이 말했다.
윤 당선인은 "저는 내각 인선에 관한 추천을 여러 많은 분들로부터 전부 추천을 받았다. 어느 특정 인사를 배제하거나 한 사실은 없다"면서 "추천 받은 분들과 또 우리나라의 인재풀에서 (마땅한 인사를) 저희가 잘 찾아서 서로 비교하고 해서 장관 후보자를 선정한 것"이라고 설명했다.
'안철수 위원장과 독대한 자리에서 내각 인선과 관련한 논의가 없었느냐'는 질문엔 "제가 (그 자리에서) 추천을 받았고 또 인선 과정이 어떤 방식으로 이뤄지는 지에 대해서도 설명을 드렸다. 거기에 대해 아무 문제가 없다고 생각을 한다"고 했다.
그러면서 "본인이 (인선에 대해) 불쾌하거나 이런 건 전혀 없으신 걸로 알고 있다"고 덧붙였다.
윤 당선인은 또 "(안 위원장이) 무슨 일정을 취소했다고 하는데 제가 그건 모르겠다"면서 "어제 분과 보고에도 안 나오신 걸 가지고 (언론에선) 일정을 취소했다고 보고 계신 모양인데, 구체적으로 무슨 생각을 갖고 계신지 입장에 대해선 전혀 아는 바가 없다"고 했다.
