세종시가 조치원읍 번암리 90-1번지 일원에 소규모 복합커뮤니티센터인 ‘뻔뻔한 사랑방’ 건립에 돌입했다.
번암리 사업지구는 30년 이상 노후건축물이 60%에 이르는 곳으로, 시는 모든 세대가 소통할 수 있는 복지거점시설을 마련하기로 주민들과 협의하고 뻔뻔한 사랑방 건립을 준비해왔다.

뻔뻔한 사랑방은 노인들에게 맞춤형 돌봄서비스를 제공하는 노인건강증진센터부터 다목적 강당, 체력단련장, 어린이들을 위한 공공형 실내 놀이터까지 전 연령을 아우르는 다기능 시설로 구성된다.
세종시는 향후 주민 사회적경제조직이 뻔뻔한 사랑방을 운영을 맡아 일자리 창출의 밑거름이 되도록 주민 역량강화와 자발적 참여를 유도할 계획이다.
