[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] ‘협치의 시대 독일정치에서 배우는 교훈’이라는 주제로 더불어민주당 양기대, 국민의힘 최형두 의원이 공동주최 한 특별강연회가 19일 오전 10시 국회의원회관 제2 소회의실에서 열렸다.
이번 특별강연회에는 민주당 노웅래, 김민석, 이병훈, 양기대, 무소속 양정숙 의원과 시대전환 조정훈 의원, 국민의힘 성일종, 김학용, 박수영, 박형수, 서정숙, 최형두 의원이 참석했다.
특히, 국민의힘 이준석 대표와 권성동 원내대표는 영상을 통해 축하인사를 전했고 4.19 행사와 시간이 겹쳐 참석하지 못한 분들도 축하 인사를 대신 전했다.

이어진 특별 강연에서 김황식 전총리는 “독일이 숱한 전쟁과 나치만행, 국토분단 등 참혹한 역사의 비극에도 불구하고 이를 극복하고 유럽의 선도 국가이자 균형잡힌 모범국가로 발전하게 된 원인은 독일정치에 있다”고 말하고 독일정치에서 배울 수 있는 중요한 교훈은“다양한 정치세력 간의 권력분산과 대화 타협의 전통 그리고 시대적 소명을 감당한 성공한 총리가 있었기 때문이다”는 점을 강조했다.
아울러 역사적 고비마다 시류에 휩쓸리지 않고 정파나 정치적 이해관계와 상관없이 시대정신에 맞는 소신과 비전으로 국가발전에 기여한 ‘독일의 총리들의 구체적 사례’를 소개했다.

최형두 의원은 “독일 총리들의 국가의제와 도전은 우리나라에도 큰 준거틀이 될 수 있다”며 독일이 직면했던 분단 분열 동맹문제 외교안보갈등 노사대립 사회적 갈등을 하나하나 나눠서 여야 의원들이 함께 공부하며 우리나라에서 협치해법을 찾을 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
