브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 더불어민주당이 검찰 수사권과 기소권을 분리하는 법안인 이른바 '검수완박(검찰 수사권 완전 박탈)' 처리를 위해 총력을 기울이고 있다.
국회 법제사법위원회 안건조정위원회 소속의 양향자 무소속 의원이 검수완박 반대 입장을 표명하자, 민주당은 자당 의원 탈당이라는 '꼼수'까지 써가며 4월 국회 내 법안 처리를 강행 의지를 보였다.
20일 민주당에 따르면 국회 법사위 소속의 민형배 의원은 이날 탈당계를 제출, 무소속 신분으로 전환됐다.
민형배 의원을 탈당한 이유는 법사위 안건조정위 소속의 양향자 의원이 검수완박 법안에 대해 반대 입장을 밝혔기 때문이다.
민주당은 법사위에서 국민의힘이 최장 90일간 심사가 가능한 안건조정위 구성을 요구하며 검수완박 법안 처리를 지연시킬 것에 대비해, 민주당 출신인 양향자 의원을 법사위원으로 보임해 안건조정위 심사 지연을 무력화시키려 했다.
하지만 양향자 의원은 지난 19일 작성한 글을 통해 민주당의 검수완박 법안 강행에 반대 의사를 내비쳤다.
