브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 22일 박병석 국회의장의 검수완박(검찰 수사권 완전 박탈) 중재안을 여야가 모두 수용하겠다고 밝히자 김오수 검찰총장을 비롯한 전국 고검장이 일괄 사표를 제출했다.
전국 고검장이 일괄 사의한 것은 사상 초유의 일이다.
김오수 총장은 이날 대검찰청 대변인실을 통해 "이 모든 상황에 책임을 지고 사직서를 제출하겠다"고 밝혔다.
대검은 또한 "박성진 대검 차장검사, 이성윤 서울고검장, 김관정 수원고검장, 여환섭 대전고검장, 권순범 대구고검장, 조재연 부산고검장, 조종태 광주고검장은 법무부에 사직서를 제출했다"고 전했다.
고검장급인 7명이 모두 사직서를 제출한 것으로, 이날 검수완박 중재안을 여야가 받아들인데 대한 반발로 읽혀진다.
대검은 이날 오후 '국회의장 중재안에 대한 입장'이라는 제목의 글을 통해 "금일 공개된 국회의장 중재안에 단호히 반대한다"며 "법안 시행 시기만 잠시 유예하는 것에 불과하다"고 비판했다.
대검은 "중재안 역시 형사사법체계의 중대한 변화를 가져오는 것임에도 국회 특별위원회 등에서 유관기관이 모여 제대로 논의 한번 하지 못한 채 목표시한을 정해놓고 추진되는 심각한 절차상 문제가 있다"면서 "법안이 최종적으로 통과되는 마지막까지 법안의 부당성과 문제점을 알리고 국회와 국민을 설득하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 전했다.

The Supreme Prosecutors' Office said, "Although the arbitration bill also brings significant changes to the criminal justice system, there is a serious procedural problem in which related agencies gather and set a target deadline without discussing it properly."
