브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 한동훈 법무부 장관 후보자는 26일 '검수완박(검찰 수사권 완전 박탈) 저지' 발언이 위험하다는 문재인 대통령의 지적에 대해 "침묵하는 것은 직업윤리와 양심의 문제"이라고 반박했다.
한동훈 후보자 인사청문회 준비단은 이날 "현장을 책임지게 될 법무부 장관 후보자가 몸 사리고 침묵하는 것은 직업윤리와 양심의 문제"라고 입장을 밝혔다.
한 후보자는 검수완박 법안에 대해 "범죄대응시스템이 붕괴돼 국민이 큰 피해를 볼 것이 분명한 '개헌' 수준의 입법"이라며 "국민을 상대로 공청회 한번 없이 통과되는 것을 눈앞에 둔 상황"이라고 우려했다.
한동훈 후보자는 줄곧 검수완박 법안에 대해 반대 입장을 분명히 해왔다. 그는 지난 13일 법무부장관 후보자로 인선된 직후 "검수완박이 통과되면 국민이 크게 고통받게 될 것이기 때문에 법안 처리 시도는 반드시 저지돼야 한다"고 했고, 지난 15일에도 "지난 5년간 무슨 일이 있었길래 (더불어민주당이) 이렇게 명분 없는 야반도주까지 벌여야 하는지 국민들께서 궁금해하실 것"이라고 말하는 등 강도높게 비판해왔다.
