브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 당선인측은 지난 26일 문재인 대통령이 용산 집무실 이전 등을 비판한데 대해 "얼마 남지 않은 퇴임에 이른 만큼 대통령으로서 국민과 헌법 가치를 수호하는 여러 모든 일에 관심 갖고 책무에 집중해줄 것을 믿고 부탁드리고 싶다"고 밝혔다.
배현진 당선인 대변인은 27일 오전 서울 종로구 통의동 인수위 기자회견장에서 열린 정례브리핑에서 "윤 당선인이 당선 직후 문 대통령과 청와대에서 만났을 때 집무실 관련 대화가 있었다. 당시 문 대통령은 집무실 이전에 관해 광화문에 가지 않은 것은 잘한 결정이라고 했다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 문 대통령이 윤 당선인의 '북한 선제타격' 발언이 부적절하다고 지적한데 대해서도 "임기가 며칠 남지 않은 대통령에 임기를 이어 받아 새롭게 태어나는 대한민국을 만들어야 할 대통령이 만담 이어가듯 일일이 대꾸할 수는 없는 노릇"이라며 "다만 문 대통령은 남은 임기 며칠 동안 국민을 생각하면서 책무를 다해줄 것을 부탁드린다"고 꼬집었다.
윤석열 당선인 관계자도 이날 정례브리핑 직후 기자들과 만나 "윤 대통령 당선인이 취임 준비를 하는 시기"라며 "국민들이 바라보기에 새 정부가 출범하는 데 전직 대통령이 협조해서 잘 도왔다고 보여주는 게 국가지도자로서의 품격이라 생각하고 믿는다"고 했다.
이 관계자는 이어 "(손석희-문재인 대담에서) 비판이 나올 거라고 예상하지 않았다"면서 "당황스럽거나 그런 건 없지만 굳이 국민에게 그런 모습을 보일 필요는 없지 않았을까 생각한다"고 말했다.
한편 문재인 대통령은 전날 손석희 전 JTBC 앵커와의 특별대담 '대담-문재인 5년' 두 번째 방송에서 "새 정부 집무실 이전 계획은 마땅치 않게 생각한다", "북한 ICBM 발사를 굉장히 거칠게 ‘버르장머리를 고친다’는 표현은 국가 지도자로서 적절하지 못한 것", "정부 조직이 필요한 이유가 있는데 잘 알지 못한 채 여가부 폐지를 하겠다고 하면 '좀 맞지 않는 얘기'라고 반대 하는 게 의무" 등의 비판 발언을 쏟아냈다.
