세종시 교육감 예비후보인 김대유 전 경기대 교육대학원 초빙교수는 27일 오전 선거사무실에서 ‘4차산업혁명시대의 빅데이터 및 SW 미래교육 활성화 정책’발표회를 가졌다.
이날 발표는 김대유 후보의 정책자문단 김대유 남서울대 교수(빅데이터 전공)와 공동으로 진행했다.
이 자리에서 김 후보는 세종시의 지리적 및 경제적 격차로 발생하는 초중등학생의 소프트웨어(SW) 교육 불균형을 해소하고, 나아가 평생교육 차원의 미취업 청년, 경력단절 여성과 퇴직자 등의 일자리 창출 등에 대한 해결 방안까지 보폭을 넓혀 논의했다.
발표를 맡은 김대유 남서울대 교수는 '파이선, R 등을 활용한 3D 모델링 활용법 실습 블록코딩, 스마트폰을 이용한 자율주행, UI 기반 로봇코딩, 드론 제어 등의 피지컬 코딩을 비롯해 합리적 선택과 예측 보안기술 및 제어를 위한 빅데이터 분석 등 교육을 활성화할 수 있는 정책'을 구체적으로 제시했다.
이에 김대유 후보는 “학생교육을 전담하는 강사님들을 거주지 인근에 배치함으로써 강의뿐만 아니라 지역 간 SW 교육 불균형 해소를 위한 교육수요 발굴, SW 교육 상담, 지역 협력네트워크 활성화” 등을 공약으로 제시했다.
김대유 예비후보는 정책간담회를 통해 채택한 공약은 △초·중등교 정규 SW교육 과정의 취약점 보강 △지리적·경제적 소외계층의 SW교육 불균형 해소 △일자리 창출 및 SW교육 생태계 활성화 등이다.
