철도협회, 중남미 진출위한 웨비나 개최

철도협회가 '중남미 철도시장 진출 지원을 위한 웨비나를 5월 2일 서울 플라자호텔 4층 메이플홀에서 개최한다.

웹상에서 이루어지는 이번 세미나는 국내기업의 해외진출 기회 확대를 위한 민·관·학 협력방안 모색을 위해 마련됐다.

행사는 ▲ 중남미 철도시장 현황과 기관별 지원정책 ▲ 중남미 철도 인프라 현황 및 진출사례 ▲ 중남미 철도시장 진출 확대 방안 등 3개 세션으로 진행된다.

개회식에는 한국철도협회 김한영 회장과 다울 마투테 주한 페루 대사, 알레한드로 로드리게스 사모라 주한 코스타리카 대사, 신숭철 한·중남미협회 회장(前주베네수엘라 대사), 최연충 前 주 우루과이 대사를 비롯하여 국토교통부, 한국교통대학교, 국가철도공단, 한국해외인프라도시개발지원공사, 한국수출입은행, 중미통합개발은행(CABEI) 등 주요 관계기관이 참여한다.

국가철도공단, 한국해외인프라도시개발지원공사, ㈜현대건설, ㈜도화엔지니어링, ㈜동명기술공단에서 코스타리카 태평양 연결철도 개량사업 등 중남미 철도사업 진출 사례를 소개할 예정이다.

웨비나는 온라인 줌(Zoom)을 통해 생중계되며 한국철도협회 누리집에서 이달 29일 14:00시까지 사전 등록하면 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

김한영 한국철도협회 회장은“세계 각국이 코로나19로 야기된 경기하락 방어를 위해 대규모 인프라 개발을 통한 부양책을 모색 중이며, 이러한 노력은 중남미에서도 진행되고 있다.”며,“이번 행사가 중남미 철도시장에 대한 관심을 불어넣고, 다양한 진출 전략을 모색하는 유익한 정보 공유의 장이 되길 기대한다.”고 말했다.

The Korea Railroad Association will hold a 'webinar to support entry into the Latin American railroad market on May 2nd at the Maple Hall on the 4th floor of the Plaza Hotel in Seoul.

This web-based seminar was prepared to find ways to cooperate with the public, public, and academic institutions to expand opportunities for domestic companies to enter overseas markets.

The event will be held in three sessions: ▲ Central and South American railway market status and support policies by institution ▲ Central and South American railway infrastructure status and entry cases ▲ Plans to expand entry into Latin American railway market.

The opening ceremony was attended by Kim Han-young, President of the Korea Railroad Association, Daul Matute, Peruvian Ambassador to Korea, Alejandro Rodriguez Samora, Costa Rica Ambassador to Korea, Shin Soong-cheol, President of Korea-Latin America Association (former Ambassador to Venezuela), Choi Yeon-chung, former Ambassador to Uruguay, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Korea Transportation University, National Major related organizations such as Korea Railroad Corporation, Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Support Corporation, Korea Export-Import Bank, and Central American Integrated Development Bank (CABEI) will participate.

The National Railroad Corporation, Korea Overseas Infrastructure City Development Support Corporation, Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., Dohwa Engineering Co., Ltd., and Dongmyeong Technology Corporation will introduce cases of entry into the Latin American railroad business, such as the Costa Rica Pacific connecting railroad improvement project.

The webinar will be broadcast live through online Zoom, and anyone can participate by registering in advance on the website of the Korea Railroad Association by 14:00 on the 29th of this month.
