국민의 힘 최민호 세종시장 후보가 지난 28일부터 후원금 모금을 시작한지 상한액 1억 6400만 원을 모두 채운 것으로 알려졌다.
최민호 국민의힘 세종시장 예비후보 후원회는 지난 3일 공직선거법이 정한 제8회 전국동시지방선거를 위한 후원금 모금을 종료했다.
후원회는 지난 3월 28일 첫 후원금이 지정계좌로 전달된 지 한 달 조금 지난 이날 후원금의 상한액 1억 6400만 원을 채웠다.
최민호 후원회 이정규 회장은 “세종시민들의 관심과 격려의 마음을 모아 후원에 동참해주신 분들께 감사드린다”고 전했다.
최민호 예비후보는 “물심양면 후원해 주시는 분들의 성원에 보답하겠다”며 “중앙에서 쌓은 인맥과 열정으로 세종시를 위한 큰 일을 할 수 있도록 끝까지 지지해 달라”고 부탁했다.
