이동환 국민의힘 고양특례시장 후보가 강남 30분 접근 교통망 추진을 가속화하고 있다.
이동환 후보는 3일 김상범 서울교통공사 사장을 만나 신분당선 일산 연장안과 9호선 급행 고양 연결안, 3호선 급행 추진 등 고양시 정책 제안을 전달했다.

이 후보는 “고양시민들이 강남 등 서울로 나가려면 지하철 노선의 경우 직선형이 아닌 굽어진 만곡형이어서 1시간 이상 걸린다”면서 “획기적인 교통망 조성이 필요하다”고 밝혔다.
따라서 신분당선의 경우 제4차 국가철도망 구축계획에 삼송까지 이어지는 서북부연장선과 별개로 직선형의 연장안을 제시했다.
즉, 연신내에서 서오릉, 고양시청, 식사동, 탄현으로 이어지는 안이다.
